There were some problems today though. Firstly, there was a problem with the fan. The ducting was not running in the right direction which explained why the fan was not properly removing the condensation before. I have had to get some of our maintenance guys in to install more ducting so that this problem is corrected. This will cost £200 more to fix plus the materials. It has to be done though so we need to just get on with it.
Secondly, the Italian wall tiles were supposed to be 300mm wide. However, they are actually 297mm wide. Believe it or not, this has made quite a difference. The walls were measured to take tiles that were 300mm wide. As the tiles were a different size, there is a small gap between the top of the tiles and the ceiling. I have an option of getting the tiler to take off all the tiles and change them so that there are cuts at the bottom and top, or we can think of another way to deal with the gap. My preference is the latter because I do not want to see cuts in the tiles at the top. It is a compromise but it will still look amazing when it is finished.
The tiles are being fitted!
A recessed shelf is being made for a decorative item to be decided
Not much space for tools!
Thanks for this post. I wish that plumbers in Edmonton had a better reputation.
