Day 6 - How to get your shower room refurbished

We are getting to the more interesting stages of the job now where some of the bathroom furniture has been fitted.

The shower screen is in place now

Tiles on the floor are fitted (and nearly completed)

Towel rail fitted

Trim fitted around the shelf

Mirror on wall

At last our room is starting to look like a shower room again!  There are a few issues though:   when our fitter checked the last few materials, he discovered that our supplier had made a couple of mistakes with the order.  The basin tap that was supplied was a high pressure tap rather than a low pressure tap and so we have had to choose a different tap.  This should be with us by next week. Also, a part for the toilet was missing which means that we will have to wait a few days to get this sorted.

There are little lights all around the bottom of the walls.  I am not sure if you can see them properly yet but they look fantastic.  I will try to get a photo when it is darker so you can see how effective they are. Also, the mirror lights up and this is really effective.

Now the tiles are fitted and the grouting has been done, I have been able to clean everything in the bedroom so feeling much better now being dust free again. I have also removed all the dust sheets and put all my personal stuff back in as I hope that we are passed the dusty bit.
